Submission Guidelines
Please send an email with your work attached as a Word document only (no PDF's please) plus a short biographical note to:
enquiries@richfordbecklow.co.uk
Fiction: a synopsis plus the first three chapters. Please double-space your text and use Times Roman 12 pt font.
Non-Fiction: a synopsis plus chapter breakdown and a note on the market for your book
We do not accept postal submissions and we only reply to email enquiries.
US authors: we advise that you seek representation in your own country initially but if you like the sound of us please tell your agent to contact us with a view to sub-agency.
We aim to reply within ten to twelve weeks but please allow for our busy Book Fair periods in April and October and do not submit then.
Please ask yourself; are you really ready to submit? Have you done at least two drafts of your work?
We are receiving too many first drafts at present and don't have time to do more than a final polish. If in doubt, it is worth seeking a professional critique from an editorial consultancy.
